About the Owner
Shawn Murrey, owner of Murrey’s Movers, has built this company on a foundation of discipline, determination, and customer-focused values.
Born in California and raised in Toledo, Ohio, Shawn learned the importance of hard work early on through athletics. A four-time state qualifier in wrestling, he carried that same competitive spirit into higher education, earning a degree in Human Resources from the University of Toledo.
Before entering the moving industry, Shawn spent five years working at a tire shop, where he gained firsthand experience in customer service, problem-solving, and team leadership. It was during this time that his entrepreneurial mindset and passion for helping people began to take shape.
Recognizing the stress many face during a move, Shawn saw an opportunity to provide more than just a service—he set out to deliver peace of mind. With that vision, he founded Murrey’s Movers, combining efficiency, reliability, and a personal touch that clients can trust.
Under his leadership, Murrey’s Movers continues to grow as a company defined by professionalism, care, and a commitment to making every move seamless from start to finish.
