1. When is the best time to move?
The best time to move depends on your schedule, but weekdays and mid-month dates are usually less busy and more affordable. Summer is the busiest season, so booking early is always recommended.
2. How long does it take to move?
The time it takes depends on the size of your home, the amount of belongings, and the distance of your move. Local moves may take just a few hours, while long-distance moves can take a full day or more. We’ll give you an estimated timeline before your move begins.
3. How is the cost of my move determined?
Your moving cost is based on factors like distance, time, the size of your home, and any extra services you choose (such as packing or heavy lifting). We provide clear, upfront pricing with no hidden fees.
4. How and when should I pay?
A 30% deposit is required prior to move to secure move out day. The rest of the final payment is due upon completion of your move. We accept multiple forms of payment for your convenience and will outline all payment details before your moving day.
5. Is it necessary to tip the movers?
Tipping is never required, but it’s a thoughtful way to show appreciation for a job well done. Many customers choose to tip based on the level of service, difficulty of the move, and professionalism of the crew. A common guideline is $4–$6 per mover per hour, or 10–15% of the total cost split among the team.
